The willow craft project has now become the Swansea and Gower Willow Craft, a regular monthly group set up to manage the willow bed, using the willow to learn new basketry skills and share ideas. All are welcome Please check out the facebook page, FaceBook Page
In the words of Nicole a valued group member ” We are a small group of people that have come together as we all enjoy willow craft, all at different levels with differing experience but happy to share skills. We started by planting the willow bed 2018/2019, every year since we get together to harvest the willow and then use it to weave some beautiful items”.
